WWYD ? (daycare related)
A childcare provider gave me references to call.
She had told me she would NOT charge for school holidays or sick days.
now I confirmed this with the mom I called, "NO she does NOT charge for sick days or school holidays."
so I called back the childcare provider, and wanted to confirm the above. (casually mentioned it..."
and then she said "oh yes yes I do have to charge, yes yes, absolutely." she completely went back on her word.
I dont want to make the other mom look bad.. so I never called her back...
is it worth asking her why she went back on her word, or would you not even deal with someone like this? (and now knowing that she does NOT charge her current customers, but would charge me?)
this childcare thing stinks.

Re: WWYD ? (daycare related)
Most places do charge for sick and holiday time. But, she must have a contract. I would ask if you could pick up a copy of the contract to review before you make any committments.
As for the other mom - she could have a different contract because she has been there for a while,
In the oast she may not have charged and now she does.
I suggest getting the contract - that will tell you everything.
