WWYD Christmas Dilemna
We have had Christmas at my house for the past 4 years. My family comes from Yonkers. Sister and her DH bring my parents and brother. This year DH has to work and probaly not be home until 5, unless they catch a fire, then it could be whatever time. My sister for some reason is being bratty about the whole thing and is complaining that she and her DH have to work the next day and wants to make sure they get their DD home and to bed no later than 10. Do I :
A. tell her to get over herself B. let them have Christmas at my mom's (which I won't go to)and we can do it at my on Sunday the 30th

Re: WWYD Christmas Dilemna
i know this wasn't one of your choices. But I'd have christmas for the family at the time I normally would have it if DH wasn't working and set aside a plate for DH since he had to work this year.
I wouldn't want to be without my family on Christmas or have it a week later.

I was going to have dinner on the table at 4, figure they could come around 1, we would open presents and have hor dourves. I sincerely think it is because we have 2 dogs and my sister skeeves animals, especially around DD, even though we keep them outside, weather permitting. i don't have the extra $$ to put them in the kennel just for her

first I'd tell her A, but then I would do B
ETA: so if she leaves your house by 8, DN can be in bed by 10, (which in my mind is really 8 since that is when my son would fall asleep, in the car! ) It sounds like you have it planned to accommodate her? why is she being difficult?
