WWYD?? How far would you travel at 35 wks
Is 3 1/2-4 hours too far??? It would be an overnight trip. I have a call into my doctor to see what she says. Just curious

it depends - is it really important? i think i would, but i would be prepared to leave at a moment's notice if i started to feel "off" at all.

Don't scare me! I am flying to Northern Michigan a few days before I hit 36 weeks. My doctor said no flying after 36 weeks, though I know many people that fudge this "rule".
You are not full term until 37 weeks, so I am not sure why you would hesitate to travel before then if you feel good?

It depends on how necessary the trip is. What kind of trip? If it is something for leisure like a weekend getaway with my hubby I would opt for something closer.

Probably not. We are mssing a wedding in Maine when I will be 36 weeks b/c it's too far. It's 6 hours away.....anything over 2 hours I just wouldn't take the chance. JMO

Re: WWYD?? How far would you travel at 35 wks
Right now DH, DS and I are scheduled to go to my parent's house on LI (an hour and a half away) when I am 37 weeks pg forthe holidays. My grandma is trying to convince me to sleep over my parent's house so we can come to her house the next day. Everyone (me, DH, my parents, my siblings, in-laws, and my obgyn) has said to her that is just not happening. She is really upset with me but neither my doctor nor I am willing to risk it.
ETA: Last pg with DS I was on bed rest at 32 weeks with pre-eclampsia so for me every day that I am up and about this pregnancy is a complete blessing and uncharted territory for me.

At 36 weeks we went to CT for the weekend. It was about 2 hours away for us. We stayed close enough that if anything started we could head home. I think it is fine to go.
