WWYD? Nap/Mommy & Me
I really want to sign DD (12 months) up for a class starting in April. Unfortunately, the class is ONLY offered in the morning, from 9:30-10:15. DD usually goes down for her nap around 9:45-10 and sleeps until about 11-11:30. Fortunately, the class is right around the block from us, so I'm thinking about "stretching" her a bit and getting her home a little later for her nap. WWYD? She is pretty consistent with her napping.

I think if you held off her nap for 15 or 20 minutes she's be fine. It's only once a week and I'm sure the class will wear her out and she may sleep longer.

Re: WWYD? Nap/Mommy & Me
def sign her up..her nap schedule might change by then too! My DS (14 mo) used to go down around 11 am..but lately - the last 2 mo or so it has been after lunch around 1 pm..and once a week wont ruin a schedule

Re: WWYD? Nap/Mommy & Me
I would sign her up. It is only once a week plus she will probably be giving up her morning nap soon.

Re: WWYD? Nap/Mommy & Me
I'd sign her up. Does she tend to sleep in cars, cause if it was my DD she typically falls asleep if it's around her naptime.

Re: WWYD? Nap/Mommy & Me
She definitely won't be giving up her morning nap anytime soon. She has been taking THREE naps up until two weeks ago. Since the class is right around the corner I guess I can hold her off for a few and get her home in time for a longer nap. Just hope she isn't cranky and wanting to sleep while in class.

Re: WWYD? Nap/Mommy & Me
I do this with DS on a weekly basis. It has worked out fine for us. He's 13 months. He typically naps from 9:30-11:30, and again at 2:30. Once a week, we're out of the house from 9:45 - 11:30 because of mommy and me. When we get home, he has lunch and naps for 3-4 hours. It doesn't mess up the rest of the days.

Re: WWYD? Nap/Mommy & Me
My guess is she will drop that morning nap sometime soon anyway. My kids both went to one nap between 15 -18 months. I would never let it hold me back.
