WWYD? Shower gift for SIL from my DD?
We are SUPER close to DH's brother and his wife. They're our best friends. They're having their first baby in a few months, DD's first cousin  They are VERY generous with us, always having us over for dinner, and very generous with gifts for DD.
We got her some very nice gifts for her shower, more than enough. But there's something on her registry that's just adorable and I would love to give it them (I'm thinking address the card to her baby from my DD as her new cousin). It's about $40. It would be a keepsake.
Should I do it? Or would that be weird?

I would do it. I did it for my friend recently. I made a diaper cake for her and used some things from her registery. The cake was from my kids.

I agree! I got gifts for DS from his cousins before he was born. I loved it!
