Something similar happened to me my first year teaching in NYC...they neglected to tell me it was "Guess who is coming to read day" all of a sudden there is a knock at my classroom door from 2 cops I flipped out....so many thoughts came to mind...my brother is a cop I thought something happened and then I thought they were coming to arrest one of my kids....I had a tough group
