X-post from Home - Interior Decorators?
We are renovating our house and I was looking to maybe hire a decorator to advised me on some things. I was just looking for someone to give me some ideas and input, not to do the actual decorating.
Does anyone know anybody? I am in Suffolk?

Okay so this is probably not the right thing to do but...
Ethan Allen has decorators at their showrooms. When you go in shopping for furniture they often suggest that they send someone out to your home free of charge to give you some ideas of color and furniture arrangement. My SIL has had them out to her home twice and has never purchased anything from them.

Lord know I'm not looking to buy Ethan Allen furniture because my kids are probably going to destroy whatever we get, but that is a great idea! I just don't know if I have the nerve to do it.
I have no clue where to even begin in our house and I was just looking to get ideas as to colors and what kinds of window treatments, furniture, etc. I'm not one of these people that can visualize and figure it all out. Yes, I am decorating handicapped.
