Another vote for the Borgata. And book the Water Club if it's not too much more money. The rooms are beautiful and the showers are awesome!

i always stay at the borgata since i have been going which is when i turned 21. I love it but i also dont go anywhere else. It is not on the broadwalk so to get there you will have to drive or take a cab.

And i am 90% sure they are not connected but i could be wrong i just didnt see any where i could get to it from the borgota but it is right next to it.

I also have only stayed at the Borgata, the Water Club is connected and IN the Borgata. I *think* it is adults only in the Water Club and has it's own extra spa and pool.

There are several restaurants and clubs for dancing. We went for my Bach and didn't leave once to go to the strip, which you'd take a cab or drive to get to.

Re: X-post: Where should I stay at Atlantic City

The nightlife is great there. Two clubs to choose from and Gypsy Bar usually has great live bands. I also suggest a trip to the spa. It's a little pricey, but worth it if you like that kind if thing- which I totally do. We had an awesome dinner at Bobby Flays restaurant too.

If you don't mind spending some money, Borgata is definitely the nicest and best way to go. If you're trying to save money I'd recommend the Tropicana but ONLY the new tower. I haven't been there in a few years but that's where I used to go with my girlfriends when we didn't want to spend much and we always had a great time. There is a club (maybe 2?) in there and several restaurants, shops, etc. Another plus for the Tropicana is it's on the boardwalk so you don't have to worry about driving or taking a cab if you want to casino hop.

Have a great time!

I agree - to save money we always stay at the Trop in the new tower but if we could afford it we'd stay at the Borgata. We never leave so the fact that it's not on the strip wouldn't bother me at all.

Another vote for the Borgata. I stayed at the Trop once and you couldn't pay me to stay there again.

I also stayed at Ballys once and it was fine...lol but I would def stay at the BOrgata over it ANY DAY!

Granted I haven't been there in maybe 3 years or so, but do you know if you stayed in the new or old tower? There was a HUGE difference, the old tower was totally gross while the new one was not bad at all. I am very picky with hotels, I've stayed at the Four Seasons and I didn't mind staying in the new tower at the Tropicana. I also thought their shopping/dining and casino areas were fairly nice. Of course it isn't quite the Borgata but the price difference is pretty substantial. I'm wondering if it's really gone down hill since I've been there last. Chat Icon

i always stay at Tropicana. You want to stay in the newer parts, i think the South and Havana are the nicer ones.

Lots of bars/clubs, restaurants, shops. Its great if the weather is really crappy bc you literally dont have to leave the hotel. And its on the boardwalk.

Another vote for the Borgata. The Water Club is connected, just think of it as a separate tower of the Borgata. We are staying at the Water Club in November for the first time, can't wait, I heard it's really nice.
