XP from Food: Tavern on the Green
so DH and have our anniversary next week, and i told him to surprise me with where to go-- we talked about going into the city since we're in NJ and never really venture into the city.
SO i did a little sneaking LOL and it looks like hes taking me to Tavern on the Green! so excited-- i always though it just looks so neat there!
i know its kinda touristy though... anybody been there?? what should i get to eat? anything to stay away from? what to wear?

i've been there a few times for functions and once for dinner. The food is pretty good, but IMO its too expensive for what it is. you are going there for the 'experience' as much as the food.
Going there is like a visual overload.. its glass and shiny hallways and sparkling crystal everywhere..
its really fun though and if you're going at night it will be even nicer.
I'd wear a nice outfit, summer dress, skirt etc. as it is a nice place.
