XP: Safety of early internal ultrasounds?
Just found out that I'm pg on Thursday. I had been working with a fertility specialist (Dr. Hershlag at North Shore)....And he wants to see me weekly (which is good bc I'm neurotic and have a million questions)....But another question-----he does weekly internal ultrasounds (with the probe).....Is there any risk to baby with these ultrasounds every week?
I would think given his specialty, they would NEVER do anything to risk anything, but as previously mentioned, I'm neurotic. THanks!!

I think it's only for a few weeks, to make SURE the #s are rising appropriately and everythings OK.

With my DS it was every week for three weeks and then I graduated to your regular OB and only saw him once a month! I would not think it is dangerous. It is a regular procedure!

When do you go back? I just found out I'm pg and go in Thurs for my sono- maybe I'll see you!!!
