xp: What do I wear for an interview with..
"a high end fashion company" ? A suit seems so stuffy but I am not sure. 
I posted it on career, but I guess it could have gone on fashion too.

I would still wear a suit..you may be at liberty to wear different shoes or different accessories though.

I normally do all black with funky pumps- even a color another then black would work

i ALWAYS look at a persons shoes. they might do that there also

I work in the fashion industry and I wore a plain skirt suit when I interviewed here. I think it was a dark blue/green or gray. I didn't dress it up particularly - I pretty much dressed like I would for any interview and I still got the job.
Once you're not going for a job as a designer, I think they will be more interested in your experience.
