I just went the other day to carters outlet with some clothes I received from my shower that I have no clue where they came from and they took them back...I exchanged though for other things.

I know that when you buy them from Macy's they stick a little Macy's sticker on the tag, so you can't return them there if that's where they are from.
I'd try JC Penny's, Kohls, BBB. Were they from a shower down here or up in NY? I'd try whatever dept store you can down here on the hope that they take them. The manufacturer's SKU is the same all over; just a question of whether or not the item is carried in that store.

I would try Kohl's first, I got a few dollars more for things there than I would have gotten at Carter's. Some stuff they took, the rest I bought back to Carter's and got a store credit!!!

Great point, most of them are from NY, I didn't even think there might be a geographic difference.....
