Re: XPOST: Best Bug Spray
I posted on the other thread...but Avon SSS Bug guard has 2 lotions with spf that can be used for both kids and adults. It is deet free. One has the blue fading tint so you can be sure you spread it everywhere and one doesn't

I'm not sure why he would recommend deet. Deet can melt plastic...it's a corrosive. I would avoid it on my skin as much as possible. Picaridin is still a chemical but it is much safer and gentler on the skin. Picaridin is also more effective than deet against tics

Thank you! I have no idea why he would say this then? I will have to ask him.
Can you tell me which sprays have picaridin?

Re: XPOST: Best Bug Spray
Avon SSS bug guard Cutter natrapel
I have only used Avon SSS bc I sell it so I can't really comment on the other 2. But one thing I do like about the Avon SSS Big guard w/ picaridin spray is that it doesn't really SMELL like bug spray.
Also...as an avon rep I'm not really supposed to promote the SSS original body oil as a bug deterrent bc that's not what it's marketed as...but it does work pretty well! When I was a kid we would go to my moms camper every weekend and we always used the SSS body oil (ONLY THE ORIGINAL IS KNOWN FOR IT'S BUG REPELLENT PROPERTIES)

I've used the Avon SSS oil, I know it's weird but it works for me. The mosquitoes leave me alone.
