I am going to print the info and bring it with me to school tomorrow, to send home for my students. Being with no power sucks, but I have been thinking all week about my students home for the week with no power, off their routines, etc. I have kids in my class that go into crisis when we have art instead of gym, so I can't imagine how rough this week has been on all of our ASD kids.

I spoke to my students families on Friday. Some of the parents expressed the kids were having a lot of anxiety.

My 5 year old niece has been staying with us and has been amazing!! When she was younger, I remember Christmas and Easter break were very hard for her not having the structure of being in school. But she has handled the last few days awesome and I am so proud of her. We have all kept her busy and gotten her outside and gone for walks when we can. My sister is worried how she will be when it's time to get back into a school routine, but I am staying positive.
