xpost from FAshion...
If Dh is wearing a tux, is it necessary that I wear a gown? I can't find one that I love and time is running out.

Re: xpost from FAshion...
for a wedding?
My DH wore a tux b/c he was a groomsman in a wedding and I only wore a black cocktail dress.
Id only wear a gown if I had to for a black tie wedding

Was the event described as formal? If it is formal I would go with a long dress.

for a work event-- I think you can definitely wear a cocktail dress-- Even if it was a wedding-- I cannot remember the last time I wore a long gown... I own one!
