Xpost from home - new apartment is making me sick

I am 19 weeks pregnant and wanted to move to a better apartment for my baby. Well, I just moved in yesterday and I am feeling sick. I feel sick only in the apartment. The only time I ever felt this type of weird sick (chest pain, burping a lot (sorry TMI), nauseous) is when i lived in another apartment a few years ago that made me sick.

I do not see or smell any mold. There is a fresh coat of paint, so it may contribute. But I am very very upset about this. I signed a 15 month lease, worked very hard to move, and paid a lot of money. And this is happening after only 2 days. I don't think my landlord is the type to understand this type of unusual sick reaction.

Has anyone else every lived in an apartment that made them sick? What was the cause and what did you do?

Any advice would be appreciated. I am so concerned for my baby (as well as myself).

My SIL & brother lived in a place that made my SIL sick. It was mold. I would look to test the place for mold. In her place, she couldn't see it or smell it. It did some # on her over time though. She ended up with asthma and doing the nebulizer every 6 hours for months.

Do you know who they used to test for the mold or how they tested for it? I want to test for it, but I don't exactly know what to do and I don't want to fall for any hoaxes. I really hope its not mold. Thanks.
