xpost from preg: any new moms recently give birth at nsuh...
I'm curious about the sibling/no children ban because of swine flu....if it was lifted or not

I asked my doc on thur she said it's still in place and said hopefully by may (my due date) it will be lifted.
I aslo went for my 20 week scan the week before and they would not even let my DS into the waiting room. I had to go to my sono alone bc DH had to stay outside w him

oh thats encouraging...my due date is the end of june.....same thing happened to me btw with the ultrascreen sono and so im sure itll be the same for my level II which is in two wks....i asked on the phone so i ended up getting my mom to watch my dd thank goodness but there were a couple of poor couples like you that werent aware of this and their dhs like yours had to take the kid/s while the mother went in for the sono i felt so bad for them

i just delivered on mon and it has not been lifted. no one sibling or not under the age of 18 is allowed on the maternity floor at all! no exceptions and they r strict...i went home after one night instead of 2 bc of this. i wanted to get home to my little man!

wow im going to have a scheduled c so its going to be soooo difficult to be away from my little girl for so long it will be the longest i will ever be away from her (im a sahm)
did they happen to say or did you happen to hear if/when it would be lifted?

Not sure if this is something you could do, but I plan on skype-ing with DS while in the hospital. I know it's not the same but at least it's something.
