You might be getting ready to ovulate. When I took Clomid I didn't ovulate until CD20 - 22...just keep using the OPK's, they are the true test.

Yes it is possible to have pain and not ovulate. It might be cysts (follicles) on your ovaries that never mature to actually ovulate. In other words they stall.

I am on CD19 too and had a temp spike today, EWCM all week and every day - on OPK. I am thinking they dont work for me. This is the 3rd month in a row they havent detected ovulation.

I have been getting Ovulation pains all month since the provera... I think it is the cysts on my ovaries so that might be it.

Those tests never picked up my O. I started using 2 different tests at the same time to see if one would catch it and one said I O'd and one said I didn't

When I was pregnant with Kiera I never got a positive O test. So personally I would not rely on that too much. I would rely on your body more.

this is what I'm afraid of! I'm doing all this at my doctors instructions. I've been questioning the fact that she said she didn't need to monitor me (i.e. u/s, bloodwork etc) while on the Clomid. In fact, I've been trying to find a new OB because I haven't been happy with mine.
I'd like to watch and see what my body's doing, but unfortunately other than what I am pretty sure were O pains yesterday, I have no other symptoms. No CM, my temps are so erratic (I wish I knew how to post my chart from FF), that I can't even figure it out that way.
Are the Ovulation Monitors better than the OPK's?

Re: Xpost from TTC - Ovulation Help
If your temps are erratic - you may not be ovulating. You may need a higher dose of Clomid. When I was dealing with this, my ob-gyn asked me to chart and bring in my charts. He upped my dosage of Clomid until there was a clear thermal shift. Then when I still didn't get PG he referred me to an RE. No matter what, if there is no shift you are definitely not ovulating.

I'm already on 100mg of Clomid, how much higher can I go? I will be calling my doctor this week and hopefully will be able to get her on the phone. Last time it took almost 2 weeks to get her on the phone.
Thanks for all your help. This is all new to me

Re: Xpost from TTC - Ovulation Help
It can go as high as 150mg, if you don't ovulate then they may want to do further testing.

Re: Xpost from TTC - Ovulation Help
My doctor told me that the pain you feel from O is just before you ovulate, not ovulation itself. HTH

I know that...unfortunately it looks like the Clomid did not help me to ovulate this month... will have to go another round next month.
