Xpost/Jack wants to take his Dad to WDW when he gets home

This has sat on the travel board for over 12 hours with 21 views and no responses so I felt it was ok to post also on here.
Thank you ! Jack and I want to take DH to WDW!

We don't know when Dh will be home could be Christmas could be New Years, so I can't book until mid Dec.
Luckily we will be driving, our florida residents and don't need passes.

What hotels do you suggest for a toddler? On or off property?

Something with a food court or kid friendly resturant ??

Something with a view of fireworks or one of the night displays (so if he is asleep dh and I can watch)

Easy transportation to the Magic Kingdom??

Has anyone used any of the babysitting or nanny services if case mommy and daddy want a dinner to themseleves??

Thank you!!!

I'm so excitied. Dh's first trip to WDW was when he was 18 and it wasen't the greatest and then we went right after we got married and had a blast but didn't have the extra money for a nicer hotel or little extras we want this time. We stayed at the All Star last time. I've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge (didn't really like it) and Caribbean Beach prior with my family.

That sounds like a great gift to give dad. I haven't been to WDW in a long time, but I highly recommend staying on site at one of their hotels. They have shuttle buses back and forth to all parks and makes your life so much easier.

As for fireworks - I know every night they have a nice show at Epcot Center. They have a light show on the water with floats. Very pretty.

Their are breakfast's with characters, but you have to sign up for them early.

I have never used baby sitting services, but I am sure they are great.
Well have a blast and I hope I was some help to you.

We stayed at the Dolphin and had a perfect view of the Epcot fireworks.
There is bus service to all the parks if you stay at one of Disney's hotels. There was a cute diner with finger foods and milkshakes. Also there was grown up restaurants. The Dolphin is connected to the Boardwalk which has shopping, food and nightlife.
