Re: Xpost to Parenting, Pack n Play vs. Travel Lite Crib
We got the travel lite crib for our bassinet. My sister used the same for both her kids too. We actually ended up returning our pack n play for lack of space and the fact that I'll probably change LO in her room. I also have the rock n play for naps outside the room.

Re: Xpost to Parenting, Pack n Play vs. Travel Lite Crib
We used the Rock n Play as DD's only bed until she was 9 months old... it was super convenient and great but this time we hope to transition a bit earlier.
As far as a PNP goes, I highly recommend the Go-Crib blow up playard/travel crib from Guava Family. It is a zillion times nicer and more portable than the PNP. (We have both.) If I had known about it before we got our PNP I probably would've just gotten the go-crib. The only thing it doesn't have is the ability to put the mattress up higher like at a bassinet level like the PNP does.
Oh, and I think you can put a newborn baby down on the bottom level of the PNP. I don't think that's a big deal at all.
As far as other options go, have you considered a co-sleeper bassinet? They're SMALL so they won't last more than few months, but if your room space is a consideration it might be a good option.
Good luck to you!! Hope you've made your decision by now!
