i'm not. im a drinker.

straight edge is supposed to be no drugs, no alcohol. no "poisons" in your body.

it may mean more but im not sure, thats why i was asking.

usually if you see sXe or xXx or XXX it means straight edge

By that definition, No, i am not straight edge and neither is anyone I know.

i am not, but my friend used to be and still goes to the hardcore straight edge shows. i have been to a few with her, the most recent was last month to see gorilla biscuits. her landlord is the singer. the crowd was mixed, but there was no line to get a beer. we were backstage and what i found odd was there was some people (not any band members) upstairs smoking pot.

i am not really into the whole scene, but i dont mind the occasional show once in a while.

I was sXe for the longest time. There's varying degrees of it, and I was not extremely hardcore about it (like I was not opposed to caffeine and tylenol, etc), but I did the no meat, the no drugs, no alcohol, etc....And I was really into the sXe hardcore music scene.

A boyfriend in HS was ... 20 years ago ...

He was and inspired me to shave half my head!!

And wait, he totally wasn't my boyfriend ... I was just in love with him. And made him dinner once when my parents were away and we were supposed to be working on a project.

I think we hooked up 5-6 years later. He's married to a Hollywood actress now.

I worked with a guy in high school that was. He always sort of freaked me out b/c he was into this really hardcore music and he looked like a "partier" but he wasn't, so I was always very confused.

My younger bro had a bad incident with a drug at a rave years ago when he was a teenager, and became straight edge for years as a result. As he has gotten older, he is liking beer alittle too much. So I guess he isn't anymore.

My brother used to be for a long time but never got the tattoo thank god because of the fact that what if he changed his mind!! But for a good 6 years he was now he drinks!
