ya know those little kid charms that people where
well do you think it would be cute for a grandmother to have 3 girls with their birthstone in each girl or is it a mom only item??
I am an only child and my kids are my moms ONLY grandkids
I thought it would be nice for Christmas to get the 3 girl charm for her for Christmas but DH said he never heard of that for a grandma.....hje doesnt like the idea

2 of my friends are grandmas and they both have them. One of them has it on a charmholder that says Grandma.

I think that's fine. My sister and I once bought one for my mom with our birthstones and my nieces. I guess I should go get her one with DS. I had totally forgotten about that necklace.

one year for christmas, all the grandkids and i chipped in.... got grandma a nameplate which had a holder for allllllllllllllllllll the grandkids...
ya.... there are 13 of us....
it's so heavy needless to say! 
but she wears it with pride!

My Mother has a necklace with 6 of the charms you are talking about, for the 6 grandchildren. It totally would be an awesome gift for a grandmother.

my mom has them for all of her grandkids. that was the first thing she requested for Christmas this year - a charm that represented our DD.
