yard work
Hi, can someone tell me if there is an easier way to basically rip up and clean up the yard.
Previously there were so many bushes and trees, and a little patio of bricks in the back and we have removed all the bushes, some trees and the brick patio.
We want to clean it up, level it off and plant some grass.
Problem is now, I am trying to loosen up the soil and rake it level but there are roots everywhere.
I don't know if these are roots from the previous tree's or bushes or still from the current. There is one huge maple tree which we kept.
Will a tilling machine rip up the soil and roots and help loosen everything up? Or is there anything better. Right now I am using a shovel rake and pitchfork so I think anything motorized would help.
I am minutes away from calling a landscaper service, any ideas how much?
Thanks
