YAY for snow days!
I work on for a not for profit that's located on a college campus, so we follow their schedule, and they are closed today! I was told that they hardly ever close, so I didn't expect it. I'm so excited!  Meanwhile, I should go back to bed, but I couldn't sleep.

That's ok, I looked outside and I saw no snow, so I got into the shower and THEN I got the call. I have no idea why I have no school today. I called my friend who teaches at my school and lives right around the corner and she said there's no snow there either I really had so much to do today! (Um, although I am still happy to have the day off, just for the record!)

That's weird..you're in Suffolk, right? From what I heard, you guys aren't getting much snow. I work up in Westchester, where they are getting a lot!

I am debating going in the shower or going back to bed right now. Hmmm..what to do!!!
I can't believe all the suffolk closings, they aren't getting anything, but I guess better safe than sorry cause it is supposed to get colder and windier and everything is supposed to freeze this afternoon!!

I'm off for the second time this week here in VA :P We didn't get nearly as much as expected though - we were supposed to get 4-8 inches total, i think we maybe got 2.
But YAY for a 3 day weekend :P

It was snowing pretty hard at about 5ish....
but as i was driving in it turned to rain.

Yes, as you can see from my post above, I was quite surprised to receive the phone call- I hear the rain coming down- snow day for rain is always a first.
