Yay I just finished all the baking of cookies for 2008!
I made
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Rainbow Cookies
Keifles
Peanutbutter Hersey Kiss Blossom
Butter Cookies (Trees and Wreaths)
Mint Chocolate Candy Canes
PeanutButter Reindeer Cookies
I am glad it is over
Now I have arrange platters for friends and families!

All I have left is cutting out and baking the gingerbread
I made:
rum balls
snowballs- choc oat with coconut/ pecan/ or powd. sugar coatings
raspberry thumbprints

isn't it a relief???
people have been getting mine in the mail all week. The calls are so nice. The hit was a pic of my little boy holding a mixing spoon on the gift tag of tin.
I made
chocolate thumbprints
pb fudge cookies
chunky chocolate chip
hot chocolates
chocolate and almond biscotti
ginger and orange zest cookie press
vanilla cookie press
now I am baking all morning tomorrow so DH can bring a mini party to work for the peeps working on christmas eve.

I did too! DH and I made:
-Sugar Cookies half dunked in peppermint chocolate
-Chocolate Chip
-Peanut Butter Chip
-Chocolate cut out cookies
-Coconut Macaroons
I also dunked pretzel rods in melted chocolate and put sprinkles on them.

wow you guys blew me away . i made peanut butter cookies and the raspberry thumbprints and the ones with hershey kisses inside of the cookie with walnuts. thats all i made but i made a LOT of them
Glad its over though

oh man am i getting hungry!! how many dozen cookies to you make of each variety??'
this is something i want to do but not sure where to start! pick 5 cookie recipes? and then how many cookies does each person get more or less??

3 batches of hershey kiss blossom(50 a batch)
2 batches of mint candy canes(50)

1 batch of reindeer cookies (48)

I make a HUGE platter for work
and I give it to alot of friends and family
I dont count out how many I give. I just make a platter where the cookie amount looks even on the platter
But I know my bro loves rainbow so i put more on his platter.
I am a crazy baker! I started a week and 1/2 ago! I baked every night up until last night!
Eventually when we have kids I am sure the baking will decrease a little and be a NORMAL amount LOL We shall see!

I have HUGE airtight containers. I have like 10 of them. I start giving out Dec 16 then go from there.
I make a HUGE platter for work so that kills lot of the cookies. Then I give plates to my friends and family and where ever we are invite to go for xmas parties
and if there are leftovers we eat or we snack on them until xmas and til new years
