Yay or nay - boots with socks
I think the socks that peek out the tops of boots is cute but is it too "young"?

I don't think so! I see it all over pinterest and I picked up a cheap pair at Marshalls. I haven't worn them yet, but I plan to and I'm well into my 30s.

Im in my 40's and wear it.
I do it with jeans and skirts.
I love the look.
Just a little sock peaking out the top.

I did it the other day. I was nervous about it but, it looked cute. I went with a grey sock from target. Nothing too flashy over skinny jeans and under black boots. I don't know if I would do it with a skirt.

I've been doing it for 3 years or so. I love it. I wear it with jeans and skirts/dresses. Sometimes I'll do grey and sometimes I'll do black with black tights. It's a cute look and I don't think it's too young.

OK cool- I was trying to figure out how this would work because I am pretty tall with long legs.
I would need much longer socks than normal.

Wait are we talking boots with socks or boots with leg warmers? Two totally different thing IMO.
Boots with socks:
Boots with leg warmers:
I feel like the difference is the socks are smooth and the leg warmers are scrunchy. I don't like the sock look, but I like the leg warmers look. I also don't like it with dresses/skirts, but do like it with skinny jeans.

I dont wear the full length socks - I just have the boot toppers. I havent worn them YET, but I plan on it. I think its a nice casual look and don't really think its limited to any age. Why would only young people wear heavy socks and boots?

I have the boot toppers too, not socks. They just fit around your leg and stick out at the top of the boot.
I am "in" my 40's and I get compliments every time I wear them.
