Yay! We are starting veggies today!
Just got the OK from the doctor to start veggies! I'm so excited!
I think we will start with sweet potatoes first!
My question is- how did you start veggies? Did you mix it with the cereal? Or did you feed DC the veggies first and then the cereal?

DS is not a veggie person. He loves his fruit. I wouldnt mix it all up with the cereal but I would put a little cereal and a little veggie on the spoon and slowly phase out the cereal until she is eating just the veggie...

Have fun---I just did the veggies by themselves... started with carrots and then sweet potatoes. DD LOVED the sweet potatoes so that should be a good one to start with!

I just put it in the bowl with the cereal - sometimes I give him scoops with cereal on the spoon - sometimes just veggies alone. It depends!

Same here!
Lucas loves sweet potatoes!!!! He can eat them all on their own no problem...but I mix a little with the cereal so that he devours that as well.

have fun, my DD loves all the red veggies, the green ones, not so much
I do not think she has had a green veggie since she was like 6 months old 
I never mixed them with anything
carrots, sweet potatoes and squash are all pretty sweet, you dc probably will eat em up

your baby is not even 4 months (well allmost)and all ready is up to veggie WOW I can waite till DS can have cereal
hope she enjoys :)

I know- I was suprised- but she has doubled her body weight (she was only 5 lbs 14oz when she was born)- and the doctor feels like she is really ready for it!

We mixed in the cereal at first. After a few days transition, we gave it straight.
Diaper changes are about to get a lot more interesting. Enjoy every color of the rainbow!

We just did straight veggies at first. After awhile I would mix a tiny bit of cereal in to thicken it up because the stage one foods are really runny.
