Yay!!! We booked our trip to North Carolina!!! House hunting...here we come!
We are going at the end of May/ beginning of June.
We plan to make an appointment with a realtor before we go, so we can meet up.
I want to see some model (furnished) homes, see different buiders' plans, and see the new developments in Wake Forest.
I can't wait. We would build our home, so this wouldn't be for a while, but it's exciting to finally go down there and see the new houses!!  Yay!!
Do any of you NCers recommend a realtor?

I can't wait to go down there. I LOVE looking at new houses and how they decorate the model homes, so this is a dream vacation for me.
My 5 year old is excited too. He loves going to open houses with me in the neighborhood. It's so funny.
I want to see the devleopments, the schools and the areas in general. Should be fun!

Oh...you know I will. But this move won't be for a while (by the time we find where we want to build, type of house, actual building, nevermind selling here, DH looking for a new job...it's going to be a while down the road).
So don't worry...we have a LOT more Y&R talk left ahead of us!!

We are going in June also!!! We have been waiting for Phase II of our development to open and they say it's in June! I have a wonderful realtor if you need them, FM me. Maybe we'll be neighbors!!

We are going in June also!!! We have been waiting for Phase II of our development to open and they say it's in June! I have a wonderful realtor if you need them, FM me. Maybe we'll be neighbors!!
Oooo...where is the development? We are probably going to look in the Wake Forest area.
It's so exciting. I can't wait to see these houses in person!
When are you moving to NC?

we almost planned a vacation there! BUt by the beach probably not where you are. I think we are going to Va beach in the end.
Maybe in 19 more years when george retires we can come join you.
