Yeah...I'd take this house!
Asharoken tudor
oh, yeah, check out this one!!! monthly payment is pretty much what some people make in a year!
What I don't get is why someone would pay $4million for the second house when you can pay less than $3million for a 10 bedroom with a water view!!!!!!!!!!!
and holy cow!!! check out the monthly payment in this one!!! then again, you get 350 feet of water!

Personally I like the second one better, imo it looked nicer, had pool/jacuzzi. Dont know if i would ever want to live on the water. My uncle used to live in sheepshead bay on one of the inlets, and his basement would get flooded from time to time.

Re: Yeah...I'd take this house!
I saw the first one in the paper over the weekend and was in love (you know, if we won the lottery). But I'm guessing some people would be turned off by a 100 year old house and prefer the second house because it's new construction.

one thing about fort salonga is that people own a lot of property! my grandparents are on the northport side of FS and all of the neighbors have about 2 acres each. Much of it is wooded so you don't get anyone around you.

What would you do with 10 bedrooms Can always do what aaron spelling did with a bedroom, make one a gift wrapping room.

I'd have a room for each night of the week and 3 guest rooms.
ETA: You could have a trampoline room like Bill Gates.

Re: Yeah...I'd take this house!
10 bedrooms but only 5 fire places? sounds kinda ghetto to me. guess you'd have to put your favorite kids in the 'nice' rooms

I was going to say this, that first house is amazing and I honestly don't think 2.6 million is that much for it. Not that I have even close to that, but for the price, you are getting an amazing house with relatively low taxes comparatively.

Re: Yeah...I'd take this house!
My parents just moved to Fort Salonga. Into a much much much smaller and much less expensive house..... but it's a gorgeous area! And their new property is HUGE!!!
I'm so jealous in my one bedroom co-op!
