Yellowish discharge (sorry TMI)
I just went to the bathroom (#1) and out came some thickish yellowish-borderline-tan discharge. I am doing my best not to freak out (since I know reddish is more what to worry about) but did this happen to anyone else? Any ideas for a cause? (FYI, I'm 9w6d)
I had some pinkish spotting last week and went to the ER (yes, I'm paranoid) and everything was fine (saw the baby moving around, heartbeat and all that). I don't want to call my doc again bc I really don't think I need to worry (yet).
Thanks for any help you can offer! (even if it's just "yeah, that happened to me, too!").

Re: Yellowish discharge (sorry TMI)
Happens to me. So far the doctors say it's nothing to worry about.
I have read that it can be a sign of infection, but it's usually accompanied by a bad smell and itching if it's an infection.
I would just make a note of it and tell your OB next time you go in.

Re: Yellowish discharge (sorry TMI)
It's normal in pregnancy (and frequent) as long as it doesn't have a foul odor.

I have that too and read it's normal w/ pregnancy. No odor, just a discharge. Just one more thing to add to the list of things going on w/ our bodies!

Re: Yellowish discharge (sorry TMI)
Hmm ... now I'm a tad concerned. There was sort of an odor. However, not one I'm unfamiliar with ... it happens from time to time. How do I know if it's a fou odor?!
(Seriously, being preggo has made me more of a nervous wreck than I've EVER been in my life!!)

Re: Yellowish discharge (sorry TMI)
I dont think you would be annoying or a worrywart to mention it to the Dr. If it were me I would. I woudlnt worry, Its not anything major at all........but I would have them check , make sure you dont have any infection.
But Im a known worrywart about infection.
I have discharge but its white or clear.

Re: Yellowish discharge (sorry TMI)
Thanks everyone!
Assuming this doesn't continue to happen, I think I can wait till my dr's appt next week to ask about this.

Re: Yellowish discharge (sorry TMI)
That did also happen to me. I called my Dr right away. She saw me that same day & I had a sono. Everything was OK. When I asked her what it could be she said "many things" One thing she did check for was to make sure I did not have any infections.
