yet again the school and a set back with the car! sorry another vent and long
sorry yet another vent! and long!
first the car.... when we where there the other day kryssy played with the lights yup you guessed it they where left on so now i have to possible wait till tomorrow because of the computer system has to reset ok not a biggie... they gave me a 2006 scion to use for now! then while waiting there i get a call from my daughters school yes the school again how i hate them! it's an automated (found out this is the first day they are using it) saying that you daughter has not checked into school as of the end of first period! woh woh wait a sec what! what do you mean my daughter is not in school! i almost passed out! i call them back asap and say what do you mean she is not there... they said oh no mrs. orlando she was late she said she missed the bus(reminder special needs child on as out of district bus) missed the bus ummm no the bus came at 8:10 school starts at 8:15(bus driver was a sub and an old man) so i ask now to be transfered to the principal.. oh she is in a closed door meeting i will have her call you when she gets out... ok i then called my friend to go see is kryssy was there at the school! i wanted phyical proof!(she was). an hour goes by no call, called back and oh i am sorry she left the building for a meeting WHAT now i am fumming! she went to the district office, connect me now, get the call tranfered there and tell them there what is going on... and added this time i want a call back in the next 30 min or i will be down there and it will not be pretty! 10 mins later i get a call back and i tell her if this was your child and you just lost your husband and your child was special needs and your house was unlivable how the heck would you feel! i want her removed from that system asap and i better never get a phone call that is not from a perrson again! well she said i will get her removed and speak to transportation and everyday from now on i should call if the buss is late and they will call me the second she shows up at the school. ok i might as well just drive her myself this i thought would help me but it has been more of a hasel then a help!
ok i am SOOOOOOOO sorry for the vent but this was just so bad. i really don't know how much more i can take!

I don't know what to say, but it is WRONG for them to give you or any other parent the runaround like that. I can't imagine how worried you must have felt. I'm so sorry. I just want to offer you a lot of

Do you see her get on the bus every day? Do you want her removed from that district? Is she going to a different district to handle the special needs?
yes i wait with her every morning. i would love to get her out of this district and back to longwood! they have a much better program for the 15:1 classes. she goes to a regular school just in a contained class room setting. 15:1 is 15 kids to 1 teacher she is in it mostly because she is behind socially and emotionally. she does very good with her grades and her hardest subject is math.
