I have one around that area and i don't think it hurt anymore than my other ones...well, except for the foot. LOL

YES!
I can't tell a lie... that one HUUUURT, however, it only lasted 2 minutes (it took longer for the tattoo artist to set everything up than it did for him to do the actual tattoo). The one I have is tiny.

i have one there that took about 2 hours to do, and it hurt the least out of all of my tattoos

I think everyone is different. Many people say the ribs kill but I have my entire rib cage done and didn't think it hurt, but I personally thought the one on my ankle hurt. NOTHING was intolerable, though! It only lasts a few minutes (relatively speaking) and you get to enjoy it forever!
This is my one on my ankle/shin/foot
