Yogurt for babies
I want to try giving Kevin some yogurt for breakfast. I can't find a soy formula one for babies but Stonyfield makes a regular soy yogurt. Is it ok to give him this?
When you give yogurt for breakfast, do you also give them cereal or another jar of fruit? It doesn't see like yogurt alone will fill him up enough.
(My doctor is really conservative in terms of starting babies on "real" food. He doesn't want me to give Kevin anything other than baby food and cereal until he's a year old.)

Re: Yogurt for babies
I just started yogurt yesterday. I also gave a jar of fruit in addition, but she didn't finish the whole jar.
When my pediatrician gave me the green light to start yogurt, she said it didn't have to be YoBaby or anything...it could just be plain regular yogurt.

Re: Yogurt for babies
I think the main advantage of the YoBaby is that it is made with whole milk. So many of the adult yogurts are lowfat, and babies need lots of fat... I don't know how the issue of fat works with soy yogurts.

Don't the YoBaby people make Yo Soy?
