You know your husband is faking when
You and your daughter have been sick for the last few days, and DH has convinced himself he's getting sick. He whines all night about how he just knows he's going to wake up sick, his throat is starting to hurt (cough cough), and makes just a huge production out of it all.
When he wakes up, you ask, "so how do you feel? Are you sick?"
And his response is "I THINK SO"
You think so???????????

Re: You know your husband is faking when
Sounds like my DH. I was sick two weeks ago and he complained the whole time that I was "giving it to him"
Now he really is sick two weeks later and gave it back to me. He wants me to have sympathy for him b/c he is sick. I said "How would you like to have it twice, like me!"

Re: You know your husband is faking when
I fake being healthy when I AM sick. I don't like being sick, and I like acting sick even less. I'll often pretend that I'm not sick, since I think that if I ignore it, maybe it will go away....

Re: You know your husband is faking when
My husband milks it all the time. He'll be sick, but he tries to milk extra days on. By the time the weekend comes, he is back to normal self, chattin it up, drinking, and I say "Looks like you're feeling better". Hs response? "I guess so." Oh really?
