You know you're a pregnant idiot when.......

You suddenly feel a flutter in your tummy and you want to jump for joy, but quickly realize it's too early. Then it happens again and you then realize that it's your phone on vibrate in your front sweatshirt pouch.

Please add your own so I don't feel like an idiot.

I poke at my boobs and get worried when they aren't sore/tender that something is wrong [even though the baby is kicking my bladder to bits about 2 seconds later].

DH did have a moment like yours, he was apparently staring at my tummy several weeks ago and suddenly tells me "That's really cool." HUH? "Your tummy, I can see the baby moving and making it jump." Where? <he points> Hey dummy, that's my pulse.

You start getting these pains in your stomach... and then you start panicking thinking oh my god... what if its early labor, what if something's wrong... then you get up and move around and a loud sound comes from your rear! LOLOL ... and you think to yourself... nope, just gas.

When you keep reading over and over again the status of your little embryo and what its growing !!! I read it every day, like I expect tomorrow its going to be soo different when its not!!

I have 2!

-When you lock your keys in your car at work and DH has to drive about a half an hour to bail you out!

-When you buy 2 conditioners at the store instead of 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner!

When you go shopping and buy a pair of what looks like really comfy, really cheap Ugg like boots...

wear them to work, only to realize...

they are slippers

I swear I did that a few months ago. My co-workers and students got a great laugh out of it.

To make matters worse... I teach the AP and College courses I wasn't exactly thinking on a higher level that day

When I'm bitching at DH because I can't find the @%@&@ phone- and it's in my hand (I thought I was holding the remote...)
