You ladies are going to love being moms....lol
My DS comes running to me this morning when I woke up and goes "Money!!!" (thats what he calls me we still don't know why). I pick him up and say "Well good morning Teddy" and he grabs my face kisses me and says "U too" which means "I love you" in teddyland. Then he sat on my lap for an hour and watched a movie. Your gunna loving being mommies or rather "Monies" lol

awwwwww I agree, the sweet things they do makes it completely worth it.
DS's favorite word right now is 'hi'. He says 'hi' to EVERYONE. This morning I brought him into my bed and had him next to me for about 5 minutes. He looked at me with his pacifier in his mouth and I said 'hi' just like how he says it. He giggled and turned his head away. Then looked at me again, so I said 'hi'. This kid was in full blown belly giggles just by me saying hi to him.

See thats what I mean when I was PG with DS1 I imagined hugging and cuddling him as a newborn. I couldn't picture beyond that. But now I have a full blown toddler and I am pregnant I am sooo excited to do this all again.

Awwww So true! Being a mommy is the best. Last night it was just DS and I for dinner. I made pasta w/broccoli, garlic and oil. He is the pickiest eater, but loves this. So anyway after dinner I give him a bath, brush his teeth, comb his hair and he looks up at me and says "thank you for making me such a yummy dinner mommy, this was a nice night". Its things like that that just melt my heart I love being a mommy and I love having a son, I love all the unsolicited hugs, kisses and I love yous. You all have a lot to look forward to.

Love these stories!
When I read Gavin's ToddlerGram (his review of his day at daycare) his teacher wrote that during his nap he started giggling and smiling in his sleep......I was smiling from ear to ear just picturing it!

I can't wait until my DS can say he loves me.
I do love being a mother. It is incredible but once they can actually show affection, it's a million times more amazing.
