Question..

My dad brought up a good point. We bought him the sportster (sirius satellite) for christmas for the car. My dh hooked it up for him and got it working. Now my dad works upstate in Purchase..so as soon as he got up there..the station my dh had it going through, became an actual radio station up there and he lost service. He travels to ac and foxwoods a lot...now what does he do if the same thing happens there? It doesnt make sense that you would have to keep changing the station in order for it to work...does anyone know about this???

yes you have to change the radio stations as you travel to different places...

certain cities and places uses those stations too...so as much as it stinks that it what you have to do

yes, we have to change from 88.1 to 88.3 to 88.5

Have him look here for common destinations - there may be a common frequency between most of the locations he visits.

FH's family lives upstate so whenever he goes up to visit he's constantly changing the frequency.
