Young America furniture
DH and I went looking for furniture yesterday. We went to Behrs, and we really like a set from Young America (stanely). Does anyone have any experience with Young America furniture?

Re: Young America furniture
I was ready to buy a set of YA furniture for this baby but I didn't like any of the colors it came in. Otherwise it is great furniture!

We also have Young America by Stanley furniture. DD has used it for the past 2.5 years- and we have absolutely NO complaints!

Just bought DS's twin bed and I love it! I found it cheaper than Behr's at route 110 furniture.

Thanks for the tiP! Is that the name of the store, Route 110 Furniture?

Yes that is the name. It has a surfboard looking sign that says kids and teens furniture. It is on route 110 in Melville here is their website. They also gave me free delivery.

Re: Young America furniture
We gave the Isabella set for DD. The quality is great and so is the customer service. We got a few scuffs on the crib and they sent a paint pen in the matching color without asking any questions and really fast. They also send replacement parts really fast.

Re: Young America furniture
DD has the Madison collection (tall dresser, 7-drawer dresser and had the crib). It's 3.5 plus years old and it still looks as good as when we first got it. Very well made.
Their customer service was great too. We ordered our furniture from a store that ended up going out of business. When I found out, I sent an email to Stanley to see if there was anything I could do about it. Somehow their NY sales rep got a hold of my email and contacted me to make sure we got our furniture. He ended up hooking us up by selling us the furniture at cost (we also received a full refund from the company that went bankrupt.) We were really impressed with Stanley!

Re: Young America furniture
We went to Behr's to look at the furniture, but will order it from Paradise Furniture on Bell Blvd in Bayside. We got our bedroom, dining room, curio cabinet and bar server from them at unbelievalbe savings! We already got a price from them that was lower than if we had ordered it directly from Behr's! Try them out!

I just wanted to add that all Young America furniture is made in the USA (in Robbinsville, NC). Plus, all of the cribs are GREENGUARD® certified for the lowest chemical emissions. And now, there are 60+ finish options to choose from.

That's funny that you mentioned them because I found them to be cheap too! I got a quote $200 less than Paradise, but DH and I said to just pay the extra $200 and go with who we always order stuff from! Then, Paradise called me 2 weeks ago and said Stanley was running a 20% off promotion, pieces were either 10, 15 or 20% off, so we actually saved even more by using Paradise. You should check them out and get prices. Only thing is, you do pay tax & delivery, but he totally works with you on price! I might call Lauter's again to check out the Dutalier glider I want, just to see what his price is!
