yum! going to melting pot tonight!
DH got a big award a work, so we're going out to celebrate! can't wait- i LOVE that place! cant' wait for some chedder fondue and a ying yang drink

well.. i live in NJ, so we're going to one here... but its a chain, and i think somebody posted on here that they are opening one on LI... their website is themeltingpot.com
its just a really cool different place to go to eat... lots of great fondue dishes. if you get the "big night out", you get the cheese fondue appetizer, a main course ( like an oil fondue) with chicken, shimp, steak, etc to cook in there... AND chocolate fondue for dessert

Thanks for the Website and info!
i got a nice fondue set for a Shower gift....and not sure what to do with it.
i figured i would try the resturant first and see what they do!

yup! you should definitely go there to try it and get some ideas... they make the cheese one right at the table, so you can see exactly what they do, etc... definitely a fun time, althought it can get a little pricey, depending on what you get
