How often do you take it? Do you just pop one as soon as you wake up to prevent MS? Or do you try and tough it out for as long as possible? I've been toughing it out but I'm beginning to wonder if that's dumb lol. Also, I cut them in half. I just cant really deal with the side effects.

I took one every four hours. I would keep them by my bed and take them ASAP in the morning. I hate being nauseous so I didn't feel the need to tough it out! feel better!!

Re: zofran ladies
What I did was I cut the pills in half at night and leave them on my night stand. When I woke up to pee in the early morning hours (inevitably) if I already felt nauseous then, I'd take half a pill. If I wasn't nauseous then, I'd wait until I woke up around 7 am. Then I'd try to get up and if I could make it to the bathroom and brushing my teeth without feeling sick, I'd go about my day. If I threw up during breakfast (which usually happened), then I'd take a half a pill. If I woke up around 7 am and felt nauseous immediately, I'd take a half a pill and lay there for 20 minutes until it started working. I never took more than half a pill at a time, and I usually only took them in the morning. Since I was only taking a half dose, I could take it every 4 hours if I needed rather than every 8 hours (my prescription was an 8 hour dose) but it was very unusual that I took more than a half a pill in a day.
Thank goodness my m/s finally waned around 21 weeks and then has been gone since around 24. Hope you feel better!

I would only take on the days I was sick and getting on the train. Other than that I was toughing it out as much as possible

If I know that I have somewhere to be early then I take it before I get out of bed so I can function for the day and keep down my meals. If I sleep in then I take it shortly after waking up....since I always have my morning vomit session. I take one every 8 hrs if needed.

Re: zofran ladies
As often as possible...when that did not work I ended up with a Reglan pump. That along with the Zofran helped.
