Re: Zucchini Flowers-please post your recipe!
we dont do anything too fancy ,, Egg & Flour( seasoned) them, & You just fry them up...
some ppl put riccotta inside or some kinda stuffing,, I like them plain ole fried...
actually came acroos a recip online similar to what we do , HTH
16 Zucchini Flowers
2 Large Eggs
1 Cup Cold Water
1 Cup All-purpose Flour
Salt & Pepper
Oil For Frying
Prepare the zucchini flowers by cutting off their stems leaving only about an inch. Gently open the flowers and remove the stamen. Heat the oil to 375 degrees F. Mix together the flour, water, and eggs with a whisk until completely blended. Once your oil has reached the correct temperature, carefully dip the flower into the batter coating it completely and let the excess drip off. Drop the flower into the oil and cook about 1 minute each side until golden brown. Place the fried flower on a paper towel lined plate and continue to cook the rest of the flowers in the same manner. Serve immediately. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Zucchini Flowers-please post your recipe!
im not too sure if they can be bought IDK ..... I do knwo once you remove the floers they tend to wilt, & it makes it harder to prepare.. If anyplace would sell them I would think a authentic italian deli style place , maybe mr sausage, a&s , uncle guiseppes , durazanos' ???

You could most likely find them at a Farmers Market.
I have never seen them in a supermarket - probably because they do need to be made within a few hours of picking, they are very fragile.
I would think you would have a better chance at finding them already MADE @ an authentic Italian style deli...just as yummy
