Anyone else still not get stimulus check?
So every time I check the IRS site it says payment status not available. We did file in 2018 and they should have our banking info (2019 taxes will be filed in early July) we do based on the calculators qualify - so is it normal to have not gotten it yet? And does anyone know who or where to contact if you didn’t get it? There are rumblings of a possible second one and I don’t want to never receive it if it’s money we should be getting- not sure what to do

Anyone else still not get stimulus check?
We didn’t. We had to amend our 2019 tax returns because the accountant screwed up. They received the amended return February 24th and then shut down a couple weeks later. So until they open up for processing (which the lady at the IRS told me will be end of this month) and process it our payment won’t be released. Takes about 16 weeks to process an amendment so I am guessing we won’t get ours until October. If you go on the IRS website there are numbers to call. I was on hold for about 45 mins before I got a person to talk to

Have you been checking under the primary filer social security number? Just because they have your banking info does not mean that this system has your banking info. They can also use 2018 data, so I would check under the first name that appears when you file, normally the husbands SSN. Sexist, I know, but that is how they set up the system. Also, they stopped issuing direct deposit about a month ago. They said they may mail you what looks like a credit card. If you did not get that, then you can take it as a credit on next years taxes. Also note, if you of you has a TIN even though a legal US resident, and married to a citizen you are not eligible for this stimulus. Those people were specifically excluded from receiving it.

my son hasn't received his.
luckily he doesn't "need" it, but it sure is annoying.

did he fill out his taxes on his own or use a service like h and r block? If he did, sometimes they used the master bank info for h and r block vs the individual banking info.

Some people received it on debit card and have thrown it out not knowing what it was.
Could that have happened?
