So we are going to Cape May next week and I had to make dining reservations a month in advance because there is only so much capacity for outdoor only and it's high tourist season.
I feel horrible for these shore restaurants. Many of them are only open a few months and bank on the summer tourist season to pay their bills for the year.
Not allowing indoor dining is killing them even more.
I hope Murphy will be happy when nobody can afford to stay in business anymore and the state is in a shambles.

Some catering halls are stretching the limits big time. Some are holding weddings indoors and outdoors to stretch the rules. I know someone who went to a wedding out East and it was around 150 people, and there was dancing and drinking. Masks at tables only. Catering Halls are willing to risk their license and hefty fines apparantly.
Drinking isn't allowed now? Are we back to prohibition?
I only heard no dancing. Why wouldn’t there be no drinking?

As a December 2020 bride, I would be pretty insulted if one of my guests lied about why they could not come.

I agree! There's no reason to make anything up. Just say you're not comfortable with large gatherings yet.
On a side note, I'm surprised that so many people say that they don't like weddings in general. Why? Maybe I just have a boring life, but I love being invited to weddings and other parties and happily attend all of them. It's a social event, you get to dress up, have a nice meal, dance, drink, chat with people you may not see regularly, etc. What's not to like?
I don’t understand either as I love to go to weddings. Food, drinks, music, love. Just an overall great time is usually had by everyone.

Yes. Screw the businesses and the people who need to make money to survive.
So schools will be open but everyone else will be unemployed and poverty stricken.
Already the economy is in a shambles, this should push it over the edge to the point of no return

Exactly!
Pretty much every state has opened indoor dining except NJ. The whole state. I’m not talking about a portion of NJ like NY. The whole state is not allowed and there’s is no reason for it at this point. Everyone has opened, except Murphy. And his reasoning makes no sense why he keeps delaying it.

I'm not a fan of going to weddings in most cases because the majority are boring. I can count on one hand the truly fun weddings I have been too, and they were awesome! I also don't like putting hundreds of dollars in an envelope, plus the cost dress, shoes, accessories, etc..for an event where most likely I am not super close to the people and food will be subpar. But that's just me.

Ahhh you have to wear something you already have so you have less of that expense lol. My hubby never really wears suits so he only has 3 and just picks one of those lol. We have a wedding next year that I will buy something new as I haven’t been to a wedding in 4 years.
I enjoy not cooking and free drinks and when the kids were younger a night out so it has been a win win for me lol.

And it is very likely the B&G would be equally if not more insulted that you are making a conscious decision to NOT attend regardless of the reason given.

To answer the OP, I would be a no.
Side note, twice this week I drove past George Washington Manor in Roslyn (if that's what it's still called) and there were outdoor gatherings both nights with tons of people on top of each other and no masks.
Tonight there were easily over a hundred people.
I was dismayed because it was so densely packed. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was a property with the actual land to spread out.
I really hope we don't shoot ourselves in the proverbial foot this summer.

I found out that they had to limit guest list to 60 people and was told since we were family we got invited first. So I think now they can actually invite people they are closer to than us.
