Was there a thread on this already? I thought there was but can't find it.

I just finished season 1 and am so obsessed.

Anyone else enjoy it?

i'm watching it, but very confused. so many moving parts!! i can't keep track.

i think i'm going to go back to the beginning and watch again. i like the premise, but i'm very confused lol it makes me feel a little stupid that i can't keep up with all the people/characters.

IS this the German show that is dubbed in English? Is it annoying when the actor's mouths don't match their words? I think I would find that distracting. I tried to watch The Woods and it was dubbed in English and very distracting.

That's a setting you need to change. We watch with subtitles, so it's still in German in the regular actors voices, etc.

Yes, go back to the beginning. Start a cheat sheet family tree. We refer to ours all the time. (They also have visual ones online, but search for the non-spoiler ones or it will ruin the whole series for you). I hand write the family tree and also to make notes of the timelines and info that gets revealed. It helps me the next time I pick up and watch and remember everyones names and connections.

in hunting for a cheat sheet, i saw a couple of spoilers... but that's ok. i believe that info is so far off, i'm likely to forget by the time i see it happening lol.

i found a good cheat sheet!!!
i'm going to binge a few episodes from the beginning this weekend. it will make staying inside because of the crazy heat bearable!!

I’m only on the 3rd episode so things are just now getting confusing with timelines. But seriously - why do so many of them pick up dead birds?! Don’t they know better? Lol

Wikipedia is actually a good site to use. The family trees are separated by season.

That is where we are, and I am so confused. It is interesting, but hard to follow. I hate that I have to read the subtitles, especially when I started Chat Icon Chat Icon
