Movie Theaters
Are they still not allowed to open? I thought they were supposed to open already?

Re: Movie Theaters
They were part of phase 4 originally but held back.
Gyms recently were allowed to open at 33% though so maybe soon at reduced capacities.
I was thinking these huge theaters that are sitting empty should have used their parking lots for drive in movies all summer. Could have still shown the current releases and all.
But I guess the logistics of that might have not been cost efficient- setting up a drive through pay booth like at the beach, the equipment etc

I have a feeling movie theaters may become a thing of the past and drive in movies may make a comeback...

I've never been to a drive in, but really want to go to one! Movie theatres always kind of skeeved me out, I'd go MAYBE once a year. Much rather watch something in my house. My couch, my food, my alcohol, my bathroom.

Not to mention how expensive it is to go to a movie. Between the tickets and the snacks, it's a fortune!

Movie Theaters
CT theaters are open and the Cinemark chain offers a private movie party for up to 20 for $99. Pretty awesome! Wish theaters would at the very least be allowed that here. My son is autistic and going to the movies is his favorite thing.
