Re: recommend maternity clothes
When I was pregnant I got most stuff from Gap, Old Navy and Target Maternity lines Motherhood Maternity for nicer things/work clothes and dresses

Re: recommend maternity clothes
Loft also now carries maternity.
I liked the gap and motherhood for work clothes. Got a lot of loungewear from old navy.
I loved the tummy bands they sell at target that let you get a few extra months out of regular clothes. I also liked some of the nursing tanks I used during and after. I was all about getting some longevity out of the stuff.

Re: recommend maternity clothes
If this is her first, I recommend Motherhood Maternity. I found their stuff lasted the best. And I bought from them all-Target, Gap, Old Navy. I loved the Pea in a Pod brand line but it’s so expensive so only bought things on sale but it was excellent quality (and used it for fancier stuff-parties, date night, work meetings (remember when there were work meetings??? Lol)).

Re: recommend maternity clothes
Is motherhood maternity still around? That is where I bought many things, along with Target. Then my friends gave me their clothing.

Re: recommend maternity clothes
I just had a baby 3 weeks ago. Old Navy had the best jeans & leggings. I caught some decent sales on the website. Kohls had decent jeans too.
For tops, Target was my favorite. Old Navy & Motherhood also had some good stuff with decent deals.

Oh yes. The Old Navy maternity jeans were the best! Forgot about them.

Re: recommend maternity clothes
Most stores only have Maternity online now.
Motherhood Maternity (Destination Maternity and A Pea on the Pod) closed all of their stores but are still available online. BuyBuyBaby has a small section in store still. Their brand didn't fit me well at all.
GAP and Old Navy were good. I really liked and still wear the Old Navy tank tops. Just keep in mind you can no longer return maternity to GAP stores. It is mail back only. I am not sure about Old Navy.
Target has some cute things. I also got a few things on Amazon.

It definitely was more challenging this time than with me last 2! If you want in store shopping, Target is honestly probably your best bet.
