New mattress
We need a new mattress. Any recommendations? We have had a memory foam one the last 6 years but I think it’s time for a change. I’m assuming no one will be able to test a mattress anytime soon.
I was looking at: lucid hybrid, Casper, and nectar. Open to any options

You can go to the store and try them.
Mattress Firm (formely Sleepy's) uses a one time use covering for you to lay on the beds.
I cannot buy a mattress without trying it.. it's a big investment and it's super personal. What one person says is the best mattress ever, another will say killed their back and they hated it.
I have a Serta right now. It was a lot of money and it was ok when we got it but it's like 8 years now and it's destroyed. A huge divot in it and I wake up with crippling back pain daily.
We are looking into new mattress now as well.

New mattress
I went to Macys furniture store in Carle Place and tried the Leesa, Casper and Purple. Hated them all. All were horrendous, to me anyways. There is a reddit mattress board which was very helpful to me as most sites you may stumble upon via google are biased/paid advertisements.
