Do you prefer working for.....
A man or a woman?
I find the atmosphere working for a man to be much more laid back. They tend to be more open to ideas.

Re: Do you prefer working for.....
I agree. I’ve worked for both men and women, and it was usually less stressful working for a man. Probably because women have had to work twice as hard prove themselves In the workplace, putting more stress on her employees - so I don’t blame them. But I had always noticed a difference back when i used to work for other people

Working for men is typically easier.
I am working for women now, and they have been easy to deal with compared to the others I've worked for in the past. They aren't trying to prove anything as the others have in the past.

I've had lots of bosses over the years and am fortunate that most of them were great. Two were awful- one was a man and one was a woman. I have no preference at all.

I don't make generalizations like this based on sex. I've had wonderful and terrible bosses of both sexes.

From my personal experience, the toughest and least understanding bosses that I have had were women. Maybe it comes from feeling like they have more to prove.

That was my experience as well- but maybe I just had some bad ones. As a female boss, I try very hard not to be that way to my employees. I feel like I'm hyper aware of it because of how I was treated in the past.

Same. The worst boss I’ve ever had was a woman but I also had a really awful man as a boss 15 years ago.
What I usually find harder is working in an environment with mostly women. There always seems to be drama or BS, instead of working together to raise each other up.
