This is actually a really good example of what I was describing in another post.
This is from an right wing opinion site, but what is more important here is that there are no sources other than a 14 year old news clip.
Credible news features have sources and hyperlinks to back up what they are saying. This does not.
When more research is done, this is clearly debunked.

WaPo does lean left but again, it's about the sources, and there are many fact based sources in the article that substantiate its claims.

Yes, interesting that Smartmatic is an American Company, founded in Florida. Dominion is an American Company. Dominion and Smartmatic are competitors, and have never owned each other, had any ties to each other, shared software, etc. Neither of them have or had any ties to Hugo Chavez or the Venezuelan government.
All of the conspiracy theories being spewed by the far-right media is again, all lies....
