Wondering if anyone has dined at a 3 Michelin Star Restaurant and if it was worth it. There appears to be 5 in NYC.

I have not but I have always wanted to. I heard on GMA this morning that Eleven Madison Park is going to be vegan when it reopens.

I’ve been to chefs table and per se. Chefs table was a cool experience. I don’t really remember per se. I’ve been to 3 Michelin Star restaurants in Paris and the south of France and they were amazing. I’m not really a foodie so I’m probably the wrong person to ask!

I have and I think it is definitely worth the experience. My husband and I love good food and wine. Le Bernardin is one of my favorite restaurants.

Re: Michelin Star Restaurants

I have been to two Michelin two-star restaurants (Slovenia and France). I think there have been a few more, but I'd have to look it up.

From my experiences, it was an experience, but I have to say I don't really remember how *good* the food tasted if that makes any sense. I can tell you more about some side of the road food stand than the two-star places I've been to. I'm also more into authentic street food, so there's that.

I have eaten at Le Bernardin multiple times as i use to work next door. Always delicious but I was in my late 20s and really didn't realize it was as good as it was.

My sister LOVES per se. That is her number one restaurant.

That’s pretty cool.

I have to say, I’ve eaten there and the food was less than memorable. I just assumed it was an off night. But I wouldn’t pay to go back again.

I’ve been to Marea which I believe is Michelin recommended (no star, just the reco). The experience was amazing, food was incredible, the manager even reached out to thank us for coming and gave us his personal cell to call if we want to come back. Totally worth the $$ IMO

I've been to

Le Bernadin

Eleven Madison

several times. Out of all of them Per Se is my favorite. For me it is totally worth a splurge every now and then...
